Odiyana Meditation Center is a non-profit organization based in South Windsor, Connecticut. Established in 1996, Odiyana Meditation Center is a Member of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union. This tradition is an international Mahayana Buddhist organization founded by Buddhist Master, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. The Center offers the study and meditation programs of Kadampa Buddhism, under the guidance of our Resident Teacher, Eve Arias.
Odiyana Meditation Center, holding classes throughout Connecticut and Upstate New York, was founded on the knowledge that it is possible for everyone to cultivate positive states of mind that will lead to calmness and inner peace. We strive to provide a conducive environment for people in Connecticut and Upstate New York to deepen their understanding and experience of meditation practice and Buddhist studies. Meditation is the heart of Buddhist practice. Through meditation, we can gain deep insight into how to be happy and deal with life’s challenges successfully.
Through consistent meditation practice, we can complete all the stages of the path to enlightenment and attain indestructible inner peace. The Center offers many ways to integrate our spiritual understanding into our daily life. Everyone is welcome.
